Jeannine M. Gambles, LMFT
is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of The Legacy Therapy Group, PLLC, which was created in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Her focus includes couples work, for couples dealing with repair and transitions, individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, crisis, identity issues, stress, life transitions, and trauma. She recently began focusing on treating clinicians, experiencing systemic pressure, and implicit bias in the workplace and otherwise. Ms. Gambles is also dedicated to being culturally competent in working with diverse populations on an ethical and sensitive foundation.
She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, having completed her externship in October 2018, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), completing her training in 2021, and Written Exposure Therapy for Trauma, completing that training in 2025. She is also competent in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Bowen-Systems Therapy as well.
